About Hijabi
My Hijab Story:
1. How old were you when you started wearing the hijab? 10
2. What does hijab mean to you? Modesty, beauty, empowerment, honor, respect, freedom, protection, religion, IDENTITY.
3. How do you deal with the rude comments/stares you get due to being a hijabi? I don't really get any rude comments, maybe stares, they don't bother me. I either ignore them or stare back :)
4. What is your favorite thing about wearing the hijab? It frees me from being objectified, and allows others to know my personality and not my body shape.
5. What question do you get asked the most due to wearing the hijab? Do you have hair? Yes I do, you just can't see it!
